Dainjazone: How often do you come out to LA?
Geometrix: Not too often. This is my second time this year. I just wanted to show my face and hopefully get some gigs out of it.

Dainjazone: Where did you spin this past weekend?
Geometrix: I did Friday night at Falcon and Saturday night at X-Bar. Shout out to Ever E-De for hooking those gigs up.

Dainjazone: You were at a special place Sunday….
Geometrix: Ahh man! The Do Over!

Dainjazone: Did you have to wait in the long line? Who was spinning?
Geometrix: Nah, we got the hook up! Haha. Adam 12, Neoteric, and Mayor Hawthorne ended the night.

Dainjazone: Did you get yourself some sangria? Did you get bent or did you maintain (room laughs)?
Geometrix: Yooo maaan! Haha. My girl Rachel and my boy Johnny had to take a cab out of Do Over. They drank way too much sangria (room laughs). We were still partying though.

MikiWAR: Where do you spin in DC?
Geomtrix: I do Wednesday nights at Eden, Thursday nights at Current, Friday nights at Ultra Bar, and Saturday nights at Fur Night Club. I also do one offs here and there.

MikiWAR: How much of the turntablist aspect do you throw into your club sets?
Geometrix: Not too much. The most I’ll do in a club set is just scratch out of songs. The battle background helps out though, especially if you’re performing in front of a lot of people.

Dainjazone: I’m curious to know what you were doing around 2-4 AM in Vegas the night of your bachelor party? (Room erupts in laughter) Peace to Enferno for providing that question. Quix has some questions to ask you as well.
Geometrix: haha To this day, I don’t know. It was black out city. Enferno was telling me that I was wobbling back and forth in front of the Beattles Revolution.

Quix: Can we tell the story of you in China Town? You tell the story.
Geometrix: I woke up in China Town (room laughs)…..

MikiWAR: haha enough said!
Geometrix: haha I woke up in China Town in some girl’s apartment that I don’t even know. I’m looking around wondering where I was. I saw a bed with a girl on it and I woke her up. I said, “Yo. Where am I?” (room laughs). She woke up and she said, “Who the f#ck are you?!?” (room laughs). She said she was going to call the cops, so I got out of that apartment. I walked down a flight of stairs and when I got to the bottom, all I hear is Chinese music and I see a gate that says China Town. Haha. So, I had to call my boy.
