Video: MTV Cribs - Manny Pacquiao

I few years back I went to Wild Card Boxing Gym in LA & was lucky enough to see Manny train a few times & come up from complete nothing at the time & turn into the amazing athlete he is today. I remember also seeing James "Lights Out" Tony (Heavyweight) also train there & that guy was just scary. James used to punch 500lbs bags around like they were pillows. Freddie Roach was the coach & would take the time to give anybody a quick pointer if they asked & was always a great guy. Straight legend. Another guy that was really cool from that gym was Nigel "The UK Hammer" Hudson who was this bare-knuckle boxer that would train rookies like me & beat the crap out of anyone that would step to him.

To see what Manny & Freddie have done with their careers between then & now is just amazing. It just goes to show that you only get out what you put in. Check out the latest MTV Cribs special featuring the Pacman himself.



Side note. One of the earliest episodes of MTV's Jackass shows Johnny Knoxville taking a beating from a boxer at Wildcard & that boxer is non other then the UK Hammer.
