Sneak Peek At The Future Of Traktor

This week, every company that has anything to do with music will be at NAMM in Anaheim, Ca (including DJcity). Its basically the place where companies get to flex their innovative and creative muscle and make music nerds (us) drool over what they have in-store. Well, every company will be there, except Native Instruments.

In lieu of having a booth at NAMM, Native Instruments just released this sneak peek at what they're coining as "The Future of Traktor". From what we can tell from the video, it definitely looks to be ground-breaking. We aren't sure if its an entirely new platform of Traktor, or just an upgrade to the current Traktor, but with new controllers. Its a huge deviation from the traditional controller with jog wheels and their immensely popular Trakor S2 and S4 controllers. Interestingly, NI is looks to be bridging the gap between turntablism and controllerism. Check out the video and let us know what you think. Is NI going in the right direction with this?
