It's simple... if you didn't make it to Vegas last weekend, you missed out! DJs representing from LA to NY showed up and even UK artist Example made it out. As always, there were wings and beer, some networking and plenty of Vegas stories from the past two nights... There was a lot of praise of the new DJcity App, the DJcityTV videos and a lot of questions about what's next for DJcity and even a few congrats on my new slot on Q104.7; however, everything seemed to come to a halt as the room parted and the legendary Grandmaster Flash entered and went straight to the mic. Some of the younger DJs didn't recognize him, some may have even been unaware of who he is, but he delivered his message and it was well-received by all. He gave props to FirePoo and was impressed with the fact it was DJs doing it for DJs and not a corporate function. He praised the unity in the DJ community. Lots of pictures followed, groups of folks dispersed, and for some it was time to rest up before the night started. For others (Fuse & me), it was time to head home... Another good time in Vegas and another win for DJs! - @CriscoKidd
